Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy
Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy (born December 21, 1972), commonly known as Y.S. Jagan or simply Jagan, is an Indian businessman and politician serving as the second Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He is the founder of YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) and son of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy.
Political Journey:
- Started his political career with Indian National Congress
- First elected as MP from Kadapa constituency in 2009
- After his father's death in a helicopter crash in 2009, undertook a consolation tour (Odarpu Yatra)
- Founded YSRCP in 2011 after leaving Congress due to differences
