This template is intended to be used in the following ways: 

=== User space ===
# Create a subpage {{code|/customDT}} (or whatever name you prefer) in your userspace that contains a call to {{tl|easy DISPLAYTITLE}}, specifying your customizations
# Transclude {{code|/customDT}} on all pages in your userspace that should receive a styled title.
That's it.

=== Draft space ===
* Use this template to avoid generating a "disallowed DISPLAYTITLE modification" error, either in Draft space or in main space.

=== Parameters ===
* The {{para|root}} parameter specifies how to style your user name. Alternatively, this can be the first unnamed parameter. 
* The {{para|namespace}} parameter specifies how to style the namespace prefix. You must include the trailing colon in your styling if you use it. 
* The {{para|error}} parameter, if present, passes the {{code|noerror}} argument to {{code|DISPLAYSTYLE}}, which is not done by default. 

All parameters are optional.
